What Is Type III, Inc.
Type III, Inc. is a hardware design and manufacturing company. We build advanced mobility and communications hardware for mission-critical applications. Type III started in February 2025.
What We Do
We keep design and manufacturing under one roof. Our engineering team is licensed in mechanical and electrical disciplines, along with handling product design, development, reverse engineering, and technical consulting. Our in-house manufacturing capabilities include CNC machining, additive manufacturing, electronics workbenches, and 3D printing, thus allowing us to take designs from prototype through low-volume production.
Having both functions in one location shortens development cycles, tightens quality control, and keeps design and fabrication in constant communication. Our hardware is built for rugged, demanding environments where reliability isn't optional

Daniel Moore leads Type III, Inc. as Founder/CEO. Design and manufacturing sit together here, with one team carrying each product from concept through finished hardware.
